E.G is an event based company, where customers can buy events, such as weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations. They also rent out beautiful, traditional vacation homes. E.G is an old royal farm, and it has been around since 1467 - just by Maribos Søndersø.

Problems
#

E.G experienced many problems due to them having outdated systems, and sometimes high workloads, especially during prime seasons. Their main problems were categorized into 3 different “branches”

  • Admin
  • Logistics
  • Christmas Market

To have a whole category for Christmas Market may seem overkill, but the holidays are very celebrated and Denmark, and it is a very busy time for E.G and the danes.

My thoughts
#

I think in general they are using too many outdated methods for storing and retrieving data. One “calender” front-end where they could review their schedule, meetings, events etc. would help them a lot. They especially need a system to make it easier on themselves and the workload they put on themselves. They use too much manual labour in a time it is no longer needed.

AI could be massively helpful by generating “generic” replies that they could then themselves change as they see fit to each customer. RAG could possibly also be a help, in that they would recieve less emails if they had a chatbot users could talk to if they needed fast information about the christmas market, pricings, services or whatever.
